Benefits of Standardizing Specifications
Joint Industry Programme 33 (JIP33)’s new video, Introducing JIP33, mixes animations with personal stories to illustrate the benefits of using standardized specifications. To date, JIP33 has published 15 specifications; another 35-40 will be circulated by the end of 2020 with the participation of 12 major oil and gas operators. S-722 Flare Package and S-710 Air-Cooled Heat Exchangers are among the latest specifications issued; all are available to download for free. JIP33 was founded in 2016 by the International Association of Oil & Gas Producers to develop standardized specifications that reduce variation and increase efficiency in the industry’s supply chain.
Equinor Awards Engineering Study to Aibel for Unmanned North Sea Process Platform
