Ophir Energy initiated gas production at the Kerendan field in Indonesia. The company is transporting 3 MMscf/D to 5 MMscf/D to customer PLN, a state-owned electricity distributor, and will boost output to 20 MMscf/D when a new transmission line is completed later this year. Ophir is the operator with a 70% interest in the field, with the remaining interest held by PT Saka Bangkanai Kalimantan.
