Pete Jones (picture) was appointed UK managing director at Neptune Energy Group. He will be based in Aberdeen. Previously, he was managing director of Taqa Europe. Jones has more than 25 years’ upstream experience, with majority of his career at Marathon Oil holding senior managerial positions, including UK managing director and regional vice president.
Bruce Webb was appointed vice president, operations at Neptune. Webb was most recently the COO at DNO. A chemical engineer, Webb started his career in the downstream sector and moved into upstream activities, with the majority of his experience gained at BP.
Andrea Guerra, SPE, was appointed corporate vice president, reservoir engineering at Neptune. She was previously the corporate manager of reserves and economics at Apache and has experience working in the North Sea, Argentina, and the US Gulf Coast. Guerra holds an MSc in petroleum engineering from Texas A&M University.
