Solid Scale Inhibitor

US Water Services’ ScaleGone 8201 is a controlled-release solid scale inhibitor for hydraulic fracturing applications. The inhibitor’s particles, which measure the same size as proppant, are introduced along with sand during stimulation treatment when a well begins to produce. The inhibitor is slow to dissolve, allowing for longer scale protection in both the wellbore area and tubing, and will not contribute to chemical runoff if spilled.
