DOF Subsea Wins Brazilian Contracts

DOF Subsea has secured two contracts in Brazil. The first contract has been awarded by Sapura Energy do Brasil for a riser and umbilical installation on a floating storage and regasification unit, which will be used to supply national gas to a power plant owned by CELSE (Centrais Elétricas de Sergipe). This project will last for 20 days beginning in the last week of May. The second contract calls for the pipelaying support vessel (PLSV) Skandi Niterói, a vessel jointly owned with TechnipFMC, to be used on Equinor’s Peregrino Phase II SURF Project. DOF said in a statement that operations for this project will begin “in the next few months.”
