Poets&Quants Publishes Best & Brightest MBAs, Class of 2018
Poets&Quants, the online publication for graduate business education, released its annual list of the Best & Brightest MBAs for Class of 2018. The list highlights the achievements, leadership, and volunteerism of 100 full-time MBAs from 60 leading business schools worldwide.
This year's volunteerism by candidates included commitment to service, both to their classmates and society at large; fighting against poverty, AIDS, and human trafficking; opening medical clinics to provide care to the underprivileged; and developing programming to prevent sexual harassment.
"One of the things that's changing with MBAs is they're increasingly coming back to campus with a purpose. They've found their calling and they're leveraging business as a means to boost access and fairness for everyone. This sense of mission —and the values they represent —really heightens the possibilities for everyone in business school," said Jeff Schmitt, the senior writer at Poets&Quants who developed the Best & Brightest concept.
