McKinsey: How Women Can Fill the Oil and Gas Industry’s Talent Gap

Studies have indicated that the percentage of women working in the oil and gas industry is lower than other STEM industries. This can, in part, be attributed to the lower number of women choosing petroleum and other oil- and gas-related degrees. However, a recent study by McKinsey identifies two additional inflection points where oil and gas companies are losing women employees who are part of the industry, and discusses remedial actions.
