Peru UNI SPE Student Chapter Members Participate in Beach Cleaning Initiative.
Last month the student chapter of the National University of Engineering started a recycling program in Peru as part of the SPECares initiative. We made efforts to clean some beaches around Lima. We cleaned the Santa Rosa beach located in Ancon. A group of eight students from the university walked around for 5 hours collecting many objects, including plastics, bottles, and some organic waste. This may be a simple action, but we know that this is the beginning of something better for the society.
