For the first time, SPE’s Russian Oil & Gas Technical Conference and Exhibition will feature a young professionals workshop. The conference is scheduled for 28–30 October 2008 at the All-Russia Exhibition Center in Moscow.
The workshop, titled “The Role of Young Professionals,” will examine two themes: living and communicating values, and bridging the gap between students and professionals. The Chairperson for the event will be Giovanni Paccaloni, who served as 2005 SPE President.
Four students from top universities in Moscow and four young professionals will give presentations in the language of their choice (with simultaneous translation available) on one of the following values: Learning, Excellence, Innovation, and Social Responsibility.
An award will be presented at the closing session of the conference to the top student and top young professional presenter.
