After a period of inactivity, the SPE Stavanger Section started up again in August with a social evening that drew more than 120 participants. The next section event was a soft-skills presentation by Stein Ronning of Baker Hughes, who discussed motivation and setting and achieving goals. Being a former world champion in karate, Ronning had some excellent examples from his sporting career, and he was warmly received by the audience.
